The easiest access is from the Guils-Fontanera Nordic ski resort. A forest track suitable for passenger cars begins in the car park that leads to the Refugi la Feixa.
It can also be accessed from Meranges, leaving the detour to the Malniu refuge on the left, continuing along the forest track that leaves you at Pla de la Feixa.

From the parking of the Malniu refuge. 1 hour
Through the GR-11 path that goes from Cap de Creus to Irun. In La Cerdanya it passes through the train station of Puigcerdà, Saneja, Guils, Refugi la Feixa, Malniu, Engorgs and Andorra. You can start your tour at any of these points.

Winter
(from November to April approximately)
By car
In winter the vehicle access track is closed at Guils-Fontanera station.
Access through Meranges is opened, but most of the winter it is inaccessible due to snow. Normally you can reach the Malniu refuge by car, but it is necessary to check the state of the track beforehand.
Walking
If there is snow, the most recommended access is from the Guils-Fontanera Nordic ski resort along the GR-11 with skis or snowshoes (1 h).
The Feixa cross-country ski track reaches almost to Refuge (only for skis).
Station access hours: from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outside these hours there is barrier at Guils town that is closed.
It can also be accessed on foot from the Malniu track or from the Malniu refuge (depending on where it can be reached by vehicle).
