In winter the area is very suitable for excursions with snowshoes or mountain skis. Nordic skiing is also practiced at the Guils Fontanera station and if there is a trace you can reach the refuge with cross-country skis along the Feixa track (even if the last stretch has not been walked on).

With snowshoes or cross-country skis:

With cross-country skis:
